Every time he tells me about his latest setback he says It is what it is. No when someone ran into his equipment that It Is What It Is because he had no control over that. However the next set of equipment failures were because he was in such a hurry to get back to work he accepted the band-aid repairs and didn insist on a full assessment and accepted the equipment as-is.
